PETA seeks an experienced Chef to work with foodservice operators and to give on-site food demonstrations nationwide. PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is the largest non-profit animal rights organization in the world whose goal is to end all animal exploitation.
In this position, you will make calls to pitch on-site demos to universities and travel four times per month to give on-site demos.
Successful candidate must have degree from a culinary school, at least four years of experience in the restaurant or foodservice industry preferred and ability to compose and edit letters. In addition, you must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and 3 years clean driving record. Physical requirements include ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to stand for long periods of time, and move equipment.
