"Access to Justice" manifests itself in a number of ways including the development of two legal aid clinics, a mediation service, and other community outreach programs demonstrate our commitment to carry this theme into the community at large.
As Academic Clinic Director, the successful candidate will engage in:
Academic supervision and evaluation of students who are enrolled in or volunteer at Windsor Law's two legal aid clinics, Legal Assistance of Windsor and Community Legal Aid; clinical program development; teaching in the LL.B. program; and participation in the co-ordination and expansion of clinical and experiential learning within the Faculty including participation in curriculum development to facilitate greater integration between theory and practice.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have a graduate degree in law or equivalent experience beyond the first degree and a demonstrated record of achievement, or potential for excellence, in teaching and research. The preferred candidate will have substantial experience in the practice of law and in clinical legal education. In addition, candidates should have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, a demonstrated ability to mentor and advise students, knowledge of, and sensitivity toward, poverty law concerns, and a genuine interest in improving the learning experiences of law students.
