The Clinical Coordinator works under the direction of the Director of Programs in coordinating the clinical services to individuals, families and children affected by domestic violence and child abuse while maintaining a small counseling caseload. Clinical services include assessment, individual, family, group, and child counseling.
Job duties:
Coordinate requests for clinical services, including case assignments and support group scheduling.
Provide individual, family and group counseling. Provide clinical consultation to residential staff and facilitate case conferences. Help direct service employees in developing and implementing case plans, ongoing-clinical services, advocacy, referral, and follow-up as needed. Represent the agency at community meetings and events. Additional administrative duties related to grant compliance and program evaluation. Provide individual and group Clinical Supervision for Family Counseling staff. Prepare and provide annual performance evaluations.
Req. candidate profile :
LCSW required. 15 hour Clinical Supervision training for supervising Associate Social Workers (ASWs) as required by the BBS, preferred. Experience in providing clinical services in community based setting. Clinical experience with high-risk families and children. Two years supervisory experience. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred due to high population of Spanish speakers in client population. Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. required. California Driver’s License required. State mandated 40-hour Domestic Violence training is required (we can provide). Must be able to climb up and down 20 or more stairs with no assistance. Must be capable of assisting clients to safely exit the premises in an emergency. Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds with no difficulty.
