This opening is for a Financial Analyst, located in New York City. In this role you will be performing complex research and analysis to provide senior management with analytical and technical support and advice related to financial performance, business operating and strategic plans and critical financial management issues. You will also be providing leadership and direction to junior financial analysts in special projects and ongoing assignments in financial accounting and reporting, planning and analysis. Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance 5 – 10 years experience in the Financial Services Industry MBA and/or CPA desirable Must have knowledge of advanced accounting and finance concepts and analysis techniques. Experience working with complex projects. Ability to provide supervisory direction and technical guidance to other levels of experienced analysts Skills in communicating complex financial data in written and oral form Ability to design sophisticated analytical/computer methodologies Able to work independently and in an unstructured environment. |
