Lead the development of CAE tools, specifically in the area of noise and vibration, and deploy them to engineering centers worldwide.

Candidate will work as part of a strong core team of engineers that perform modeling and simulation activities in the areas of noise, vibration, system dynamics and motion control.



Responsibilities will include:
Develop and deploy state-of-the-art tools for system noise and vibration modeling, requirements allocation and robust design. Maintain and improve existing toolsets.
Lead or support modeling activities for elevator and escalator system and component design.
Work closely with corporate research center on advanced development projects and implement best practices from industry
Teach, train and mentor fellow engineers and technicians in the organization
Some international travel to Engineering Centers expected.



CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

5+ years industrial experience in a product development setting with acoustics/noise control focus.

Strong working experience with commercial noise modeling tools and MATLAB. Preferred candidate will have experience with AutoSEA (or VA One) and Ansys (or similar commercial FEA tool).

Strong hands-on experience with NV test methods and spectral analysis, including measurement of sound intensity and sound power.

Must be proficient in spoken and written English.

MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Acoustics required
