CCFA seeks a National Endurance Manager to provide leadership, vision and support to chapters to develop our new chapter-based fundraising endurance program. Reporting to the Director of National Events, the National Endurance Manager will help create strategies and plans to stimulate growth and maximize efficiencies in endurance fundraising execution.
Essential Functions
Assess and evaluate existing foundation events.
Assist in developing protocols, manuals and best practice models for endurance based events and manage implementation at the chapter level.
Act as liaison between chapter event staff and national staff.
Work with the Marketing Department on marketing and public relation strategies.
Assist in the development and marketing of sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
Work with the Patient, Professional and Educational Services Department to ensure mission integration.
Monitor chapter event budgets and recommend cost saving strategies.
Develop tools and systems to assist chapter staff in more efficient fundraising.
Provide ongoing training to event volunteers, local board committees and chapter staff through conferences, regional meetings, conference calls and professional development opportunities
Req. candidate profile :
Additional Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
A minimum of 3 years event management experience
Significant skills in planning, budgeting, and volunteer development
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Ability to work as member of a team
Sense of humor
Effective communicator
Meticulous attention to detail
Available to travel and work evenings and weekends
