The Annual Fund Manager plays a vital role in the Development team's success by providing organizational skills, critical thinking and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The position requires flexibility and the ability to prioritize changing needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, development, implementation and monitoring of all annual fund programs and activities to acquire, develop and steward a base of approximately 7,000 active donors.
Write copy for and coordinate large scale direct mail effort.
Develop scripts and coordinate telemarketing campaigns.
Coordinate all aspects of Hopelink's Annual "Turkey Trot" - A 5k funwalk in downtown Kirkland.
Manage community sponsored events, providing materials and support to schools, churches, and community groups who raise funds on our behalf
Oversee data management, assuring donor records are up to date and accurate.
Oversee gift processing and the production of donor acknowledgment letters.
Coordinate cultivation and solicitation system and track status of key prospects who have the potential to become major donor.
Develop strategies to acquire new donors.
Segment existing donor base to effectively cultivate, steward and solicit prospects.
Support annual luncheon and development events as assigned.
Produce donor cultivation pieces such as quarterly newsletter for the faith community.
Speak publicly on behalf of the agency at community functions and fundraising events; may include some weekend and evenings events.
Supervise three Development Coordinators.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Development.
Serve as member of both the development management team in building department capacity and effectiveness and the agency-wide management team in growing the organization's community impact.
Req. candidate profile :
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in fund development and community relations; 3 years supervisory experience and a BA degree or equivalent.
Strong commitment to customer service and Hopelink's mission.
Licenses, certificates, & other requirements:
Valid Washington State drivers' license, reliable personal transportation, proof of automobile insurance required.
Criminal background check through the Washington State Patrol.
