Proficient in functional circuit design and printed circuit board layout using Mentor Graphics. Proficient in printed circuit board layout simulation and optimization. Proficient in dynamic analysis of board design (e.g., crosstalk, EMI evaluation). Trained in NASA and industry standards on board design and workmanship. Motivated to research technologies and application for the purpose of translating existing circuit designs that utilize mature technologies to alternate designs that leverage cutting edge technologies (e.g., 3-D embedded circuits, 3-D packaging concepts, die-packaging). Interested in packaging research applications at the board and box level for the purpose of identifying topics for potential technology development proposals.
Job duties:
BS degree in Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited institution with a minimum of 1 year applicable experience is required.
