| Job description: | Senior Level Project/Program Management – Global Algorithmic Trading (New York City, NY)
This is a once in a lifetime strategic growth position offering the opportunity to build a brand new Global Algorithmic Trading Product from scratch! In this role you will lead global efforts focused on Strategy and Vision of the never before seen Product and then implement the system upon development! As Senior PM you will be managing a cross-functional quants/vendor/technology team to roll out vendor and Algo Trading projects across the globe (Europe, US, Asia, Canada, Australia). Your role will be to define the product roadmap, vision and deliverables. You will work with vendors to configure a hosted solution and custom built strategy server, as well as work closely with sales traders to create traders workflow for different orders (IOI, IOC, GTC etc). This is an opportunity to take a proactive approach and creative a vision while not being afraid of challenging the status quo as appropriate. We are seeking someone with the following experience and skills: Significant project management background within a Global organization. Building teams and functioning as a “hands on” leader. · Experience with OMS or EMS and Electronic Equity Trading · Working with leading vendors related to Equity Trading (Fidessa, GL Trade, Charles River, etc.) · Excellent Process/Methodology (SDLC) skills (i.e. Six Sigma, ITIL, PMIBOK, Agile, Scrum, RUP, Waterfall, etc.) Strong understanding of Algorithmic Trading. Deep background with High Volume/Low Latency systems Experience with Market Data Experience building SOX Compliant Environment Strong Methodology background (ITIL)/COBIT · Ability to travel internationally Compensation is in the $225K+ range |
