Responsibilities:
- Work with the Director of Family Wellness Initiatives to manage and oversee physical education programs operated by YPI at elementary and middle schools.
- Ensure that goals, targets and performance outcomes are met on a daily, weekly and monthly basis throughout the contract period.
- Maintain up-to-date administrative files; data entry, intake forms for program enrollment and attendance.
- Program monitoring, quality assurance and technical assistance; prepare for successful site visits and reporting.
- Supervise up to 6 part-time site physical education coordinators; conduct individual, performance evaluations.
- Assist in coordination of parent component, health fairs, field trips and enrichment lessons.
- Develop, and establish communication with school administrators, YPI staff, students and families relating to health and family wellness.
- Develop and maintain partnerships and/or collegial relationships with other non-profit organizations, coalitions, businesses, civic and political groups, and educational institutions.
- Assist in design and monitor program content; attend trainings and incorporate fresh ideas into programs.
- Develop and oversee curriculum development and implementation plan.
- Represent the mission and vision of YPI.
- Other duties as assigned.

| Req. candidate profile : |
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in youth development, education, social services, or related field
- 1 year minimum experience working in a supervisory/management capacity in a non-profit education or social service setting.
- 2 years of direct experience with children or youth
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual a plus.
- Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Knowledge of managing budgets.
