Support UWCW’s workplace campaigns by providing accurate, informative, and inspirational presentations; act as representative for organization. Receive coaching and feedback on utilizing storytelling to outline the positive impact United Way has on the community. Act as a resource for external and internal audiences; play a significant role in securing funding for UWCW by motivating and asking target audiences to give.
Supervision and Working Relationships Supervisory Direction Received:
Position works under general direction of the Vice President – Marketing and Communications but interacts extensively with UWCW employees at different levels of the organization, Account Managers, and people in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the United Way staff on presentation schedule; respond to requests for presentations from Account Managers and other staff members in a timely manner.
- Work with the Vice President – Marketing and Communications to research and develop effective presentations for campaign events, meetings, or other events. Tailor presentations to match the topics and themes requested by a company or organization.
- Make presentations an average of three to four times per day.
- Participate in evaluation and feedback sessions with the Vice President – Marketing and Communications. Make improvements and changes to presentations as needed.
- Participate in meetings as directed.
- Maintain professional and organizational standards while representing UWCW within external community.
- Maintain UWCW organizational loyalty.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Display passion for UWCW’s mission.
- Maintain an enthusiastic and pleasant demeanor
- Maintain a service-oriented work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment.
- Experience with diverse cultures is a plus.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Training Required for this Position:
College degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Liberal Arts, Performance, Political Science, or related field required.
Technical Knowledge:
- Work experiences that align with this position’s requirements.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (currently used organizationally).
