ERfC’s mission is to team with kids, communities, schools, and families to grow resilient kids. Through innovative community collaborations, we help kids learn, reach their goals, and contribute to their communities. Our mission guides all of our organizational activities including our strategy of collaborating with a variety of organizations and individuals to provide quality, innovative services.
Coordinate the agency volunteer program, fundraising, and special events. Responsible for achieving agency volunteer goals and engaging sponsors in ongoing service activities and special events.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement annual volunteer plan; promote, train and oversee volunteers
- Organize and plan agency events; develop, cultivate and maintain event materials
- Develop and produce all marketing and promotional materials, including press releases, annual report, and newsletters
- Lead and organize fundraising activities; identify, recommend and solicit individuals and businesses for sponsorships

Qualifications
- Experience promoting, organizing and training volunteers
- Strong partnership building and event planning skills
- Excellent oral communication and ability to participate in public speaking events
- Ability to write clearly and persuasively
Additional Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree or acceptable substitute experience; including 3-5 years of direct sales or business development experience in a service industry or with a nonprofit. Emphasis on volunteer development, fundraising, events planning and obtaining corporate sponsorships
- Experience working with the Enfield community
- Salary based on experience and credentials.
