Administering the day to day business functions (A/P, A/R, bank deposits, vendor relationships, licensing, payroll and taxes), internal controls, and cash flow; managing all internal and external financial reporting, including 990’s, in accordance with GAAP; assisting in the creation and monitoring of the annual budget in coordination with the Finance Committee; coordinating and supervising the annual audit in coordination with the Audit Committee; implementing and updating, as necessary, policies and procedures as they relate to financial operations; managing all investment funds in coordination with the Investment Committee and outside investment managers; managing HR matters such as healthcare and 401(k) programs in coordination with the Executive Director; and attending Development, Finance and Investment Committee meetings, as well as Board of Trustees meetings.
Req. candidate profile :
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in accounting, finance or related area; MBA/CPA/CMA preferred. Some experience in nonprofit arts organization; advanced degree in nonprofit arts management a plus. Experience with GAAP; grant management; HR; internal control procedures; inventory; investment analysis; and audit procedures. Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and resolve complex accounting issues.
