Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position has responsibility for financial operations of each of the 35 real estate limited partnerships for which CHN has fiscal management oversight; overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
Additionally, this position is responsible for developing sound budgets, all internal and external financial reporting, cash flow planning and management, construction contract management, identifying variances and generating effective strategies to address them; generating timely and appropriate financial reports, including budget to actual income statements for all partnerships; create cash flow projections and maintain positive cash flow; annual Partnership budgets; internal controls, systems changes and upgrades, payroll oversight and staff supervision and development.
Req. candidate profile :
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Accounting (Masters degree and/or CPA preferred) . 5-7 years experience with financial statement preparation, preferably with a large non-profit organization. Knowledge of affordable housing (LIHTC) development/property management would be a plus. Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
