B Corporation is a new type of corporation which uses the power of business to create public benefit. B Corporations meet high performance and legal standards and build collective voice through the power of the unifying B Corporation brand.
Position Functions:
Differentiation:
- Help existing B Corporations differentiate their businesses
- Develop and increase use of materials for B Corps to communicate B Corp status internally and externally to consumers, employees, business partners, and investors who want to support ‘good companies’, not just good marketing.
Awareness:
- Increase awareness of B Corporations to potential B Corps, thought leaders, and the general public
- Develop and execute B Corporation branding strategy, including web, co-branding, pr/writing/blogging, media partnerships (i.e. GOOD Business), events, advertising, etc.
- Work with recruiting team to develop and activate community partnerships with sustainable business associations (i.e SVN, BALLE, Investor Circle, Coop America, 1% for the Planet, ICIC, Interra, World of Good, etc).
- Attend and present at industry conferences.
External Contacts:
Existing and potential B Corporations; B Corp Community, Service, Capital, Media, and Supply Chain Partners; B Lab’s marketing partners (i.e. Ammirati) and Branding Advisory Council.

Report to B Lab Co-Founder, Jay Coen Gilbert

Qualifications:
- Passion for using business to solve social and environmental problems
- High energy, self-managing, entrepreneurial personality
- Strong relationship-building, communications, and organizational skills
- 5-10 years experience in business, preferably in a role which required managing external relationships
