SUMMARY:

Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available Electronic Technician III (Senior Electronic Repair Technician) for an opportunity located in the Milpitas, California office.
This position entails collaboration with other team members in testing and troubleshooting products returned for repair. Technician will trouble shoot at the system, board and component level and will be able to rework boards if necessary.
Responsibilities Include:
• Test and trouble shoot RF/digital circuits to component level. Fix unit, perform final functional test and send to QC- Ensure appropriate documentation is complete, and database is updated.
• Re-engineer new products for repair, create schematics and detailed procedures for trouble-shooting/repairing products.
• When necessary assist in building test fixtures and providing necessary documentation for operation.
• Collaborate with Engineers on re-engineering effort and ATE development effort for future repair capabilities- Part of the New repair capabilities development team and involved in R&D meetings.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• 5+ yrs of experience with test, troubleshooting and minor design of analog, digital and RF circuitry to 2 Ghz.
• A.A.S Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge and use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, noise figure meters, distortion analyzers and other test equipment.
• Ability to develop/build Automated Test Equipment and bench top set-ups using drawings and schematics.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance.
• Good communication skills.
