Human Capital Coordinator – Full Time Position in Needham, MA

Our client is seeking a self-motivated Human Capital Coordinator to administer the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions. Within the atmosphere of rapid growth, the Human Capital Coordinator will help maintain a team-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes productivity, goal attainment, and the ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Human Capital Coordinator will assist in the following functional areas:

l Recruiting and staffing logistics.

l Team member orientation (onboarding), development, and training logistics and record keeping.

l Performance management.

l Assisting with team member relations.

l Champion our client’s core values.

l Salary and benefits administration and record keeping.

l Company and team member communications.

l Coordination of the development and communication of Human Capital policies, procedures and programs.

l Compliance with employee regulations and reporting requirements.

Required Skills

l Technology savvy and familiarity with the latest tools and techniques used to successfully automate core HR processes and enable team member self-service, with demonstrated skills in data management and electronic record keeping.

l Passion for people and helping others.

l Excellent interpersonal skills.

l Effective oral and written communication.

l Excellent organizational skills.

l Proven ability to act with a high level of confidentiality.

l Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Required Experience

l General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.

l Experience in the operation of effective and innovative human capital policies.

l Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs.

l Experience creating career development and training programs for technology-centric staff (i.e., software developers and network engineers), and customer service and marketing professionals, a plus.

l One to two years of Human Capital administration experience.

l Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations that practice innovative Human Capital Management, preferred.

l Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development or equivalent.

l Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred, not required.

l Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, team building, employee relations, and training, preferred.
