Our client is a privately held company that develops and commercializes medical devices for treatment of osteoarthritis and joint damages. Their mission is to provide best-in-class, patient-specific implants and instrumentation that minimize the trauma and scarring, and improve the limited reproducibility often associated with traditional orthopedic implant surgery.
Sales Administrator
Our client is seeking a polished and experienced sales administrator with excellent Excel, Powerpoint and Sales Administrator abilities.
Responsibilities:
Clerical work including expense report development, review vs. policies and processing
Planning events including management of multi-person itineraries and identification, negotiation and tracking of venues/ services
Providing constant communication with company personnel, sales reps and surgeon/ surgeon staff regarding event details
Development of ingoing sales reports for sales representatives and distributors using financial and sales data
Initiation and development of processes which can increase efficiencies of sales administration and medical education
Management of highly-confidential information and assignments including dissemination of offer letters and set-up of new employees
Development of announcements and reports using high-level written and spelling skills, such as announcements and field communications
Managing and arranging information in report formats which facilitate easy and efficient analysis on reproducible basis
Ability to source, organize and arrange information from Internet and other sources for regular communications (e.g, field
newsletter)
Facilitate development of tracking reports such as quota attainment, commission reporting, advisor and distributor responsibilities
Aptitude to develop communication vehicles which can be in format for communication/update regularly via Web access
Develop planning and communication vehicle options using knowledge of Web-based services
Technical Requirements:
Minimum 4 years administrative experience in sales/ sales reporting or external customer based settings
Microsoft Office proficiency, primarily Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook – great knowledge of details
Proven ability to develop reports to capture and output information on a regular basis, based on clear needs/objectives assessments
Ability to efficiently perform clerical work with attention to detail and timely, consistent follow-up
Strong knowledge of Internet sourcing for information and services for project/travel
Organization and proven aptitude for travel planning for groups, including organization via Internet and travel agent
Strong preference for knowledge of Boston locations for events, mechanisms to find venues
High integrity and ability to manage confidential information effectively
Professional customer background (i.e, having worked with high-level, professional services similar to surgeons/office staff)
Excellent organizational skills exemplified by file system development, project management and follow-up systems
Professional phone and e-mail correspondence including strong written skills
Proven abilities to be a team player
Preference for working experience with CRM systems and proficiency in learning new software systems
Strong problem solving on requiring little guidance
Aptitude and attitude to be creative and effective in vendor negotiation and in enjoying ‘finding the hidden deal
Experience in recording and managing budgets and financial data
Demonstrated capacity to understand and communicate technical product information to public audiences (e.g, sales, etc)
Interaction/ experience in marketing preferred
Knowledge of new technologies and applications such as videoconference to help improve efficiency
High interest for learning new skills and information regarding medical device industry
Reports to: Senior Manager, Customer Service and Sales Administration
Work Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Educational Requirements: A.A. minimum, B.A./ B.S. preferred
Compensation: $40k to $45k
Benefits: Excellent package with 5 weeks off per year, (PTO and holidays)
