Manpower Professional is currently recruiting for a General
Aviation Systems Certification Engineer . This possible
contract opportunity is located in Albuquerque, NM at a
company, which offers an expanding selection of high value
solutions for experimental & certified aircraft. This is
a great opportunity to be a part of the core staff of an
exciting general aviation startup company that is in the
business of designing, developing & manufacturing
technically innovative low cost avionics to meet the economic
& operational need of their customers.
The Engineer will generate, maintain & communicate system
requirements, allocate requirements & assure compatibility
among subsystems. Partner with marketing & engineering
stakeholders to define & document user interfaces for new
products. Fully define & document product operational
characteristics during early concept stages & oversee
development of the user interface. Generate high level
certification plans for avionics approval under TSO, TC &
STC. Provide guidance for generation of test plans for bench
level & flight test. Generate, maintain & create
compliance reports for top level system requirements. Perform
top-down & bottom-up system safety analysis of designs
& architectures. Participate in product design activities.

| Req. candidate profile : |
Qualification required: 10 + years of relevant FAA experience;
direct working knowledge of FAA CFR's for Part 23; direct
experience with FAA certification processes related to
operational approvals; Understanding of FAA regulatory
requirements & processes related to operational
certification; project management experience; experience
working with the FSDO, MIDO & ACO organizations.
Familiarity with aircraft, aviation , avionics & associated
systems required. A BS is required in Engineering .
