| Job description: | The Christian Broadcasting Network has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Digital Media Technician to provide technical support for Live Event Streaming, Video On-Demand Encoding, and DVD authoring. The qualified candidate will work to encode and deliver various forms of video content for web and mobile platforms and provide technical support for WorldReach centers and CBN departments.
Qualifications: • Basic working knowledge of Windows Media Encoder, Mpeg1, Mpeg 2, MP3, and Mpeg4, Flash Video and other digital media formats • Basic working knowledge of various media encoding applications, such as Discreet Cleaner XL, Procoder, Compression Master, and Sorenson Squeeze • Basic working knowledge of various VCD and DVD authoring software packages • Basic knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux Operating Systems • Basic knowledge of various NLE post production systems including, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Apple Final Cut Pro • Basic working knowledge of video production, audio production, post production, and television standards • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may be outside of 1st shift hours • Demonstrated knowledge and use of Excel, MSOffice and FTP software CBN is a leader in Christian television, producing network-quality programming and providing humanitarian relief efforts around the world.
