Our client, a pioneer in their field, works with corporations and governments worldwide to address cost, compliance and environmental issues associated with the recovery and disposition of retired IT assets, offering data and information security, regulatory and reporting compliance, revenue rather than expense in dealing with retired IT assets.

Daily Responsibilities:
• Configure, upgrade and test computer hardware and peripherals
• Configure, test and, recommend new hardware and software for product testing
• Disassemble repair and reassemble computer and network hardware
• Technically and accurately inspect, classify, sort, count, diagnose, evaluate, and repair computer and network hardware as well as associated equipment
• Evaluate and identify hardware for specific disposition (remarket, repair, disassemble, recycle, etc...)
• Record technical, configuration, repair, and cosmetic information using PlanITROI’s production database
• Create machine specific software loads
• Work with production personnel to drive and complete projects
• Organize and maintain technical facility
• Help set standards and policies to improve efficiency and reduce cost
Job duties: Requirements:

1 - 3 years experience in the computer & mobile computer technology and/or IT fields
A+ certification or related experience
Experienced and knowledgeable with a keen understanding of computer and network IT equipment: desktop systems, notebooks, mobile devices, servers and related products.
Knowledge and understanding of diagnostic and troubleshooting utilities
Experience with BIOS configuration and upgrade utilities
Ability to configure, maintain, and upgrade desktops, notebooks and network servers
Ability to diagnose and repair desktops, notebooks and network servers
Ability to install, upgrade, and perform backup on software
Ability to identify and install desktop and mobile hardware and peripherals
Ability to answer computer and software related questions in technical and non-technical terms
Able to perform invoice, shipment, warranty and credit return processing
Experience in inventory identification and maintenance
Working knowledge of MS operational software, Excel, Outlook, and Word
Have proven track record of attendance at prior companies
