Job description: Program Associate position in the Program Development and Technical Assistance department

Which is Responsible for:
  • Designing and securing funding for new programs;
  • Developing systems to analyze data and learn from existing programs;
  • Delivering high-quality technical assistance (TA) services to nonprofit organizations, private foundations, and government agencies; and
  • Working closely with staff in our core program areas to support ongoing program development and improvement.


Following are key job responsibilities:
  • Analyze data and assess programs to identify opportunities to strengthen services or improve outcomes in workforce development and asset building programs
  • Effectively communicate ideas to TA clients and provide ongoing support
  • Manage projects, build relationships, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Develop products that lead to program improvement, training, or new opportunities for Seedco, including program tools, proposals, presentations, reports, marketing materials, policy papers, and technical briefs
  • Contribute to efforts to identify and pursue funding and new business opportunities.
Req. candidate profile : Qualification Requirements
  • BA required, MA preferred
  • Preferred 2-5 years experience in technical assistance, workforce development or asset building, and knowledge of nonprofit organizations, education, or youth development
  • Ability to quickly assess situations, analyze data, ask thoughtful questions, troubleshoot, communicate strategies, and encourage continuous improvement
  • Strong interest in nonprofit organizations, commitment to capacity building, and desire to learn about technical assistance, workforce development and asset building
  • Superior interpersonal skills, and advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and detail orientation
  • Effective in a fast-paced environment; ability to work independently or in teams
  • Ability to lead projects, anticipate and set priorities, and meet deadlines.
