The Bi-lingual Outreach Specialist will recruit married couples with children who are living with a low-income for the Loving Families research project at Center for Human Services (CHS).
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the Outreach Specialist include actively recruiting & pre-screening couples for the project and enrollment of couples during an in-person intake session. Outreach Specialists will then continue engagement/retention efforts with couples, connecting them with their Family Advocate.

Qualifications:
Fluency in English and Spanish
Commitment to confronting racism, sexism, heterosexism, and other discriminatory practices
Experience and demonstrated ability to successfully work within a diverse cultural setting and provide culturally competent services
Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
Prompt and consistent attendance during scheduled working hours
Two years of experience in sales, recruitment and/or outreach
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Communications or equivalent experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Computer literacy; knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
Willingness to submit to and pass a criminal background check
Current Washington State Driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work in an unstructured and unpredictable setting, ability to adapt to change
