Job Summary: Administers policies relating to one or more functions of human resources by performing the following duties. |
| Job duties: |
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Researches situations and investigates options such as: internally filed employee grievances; resumes, applicants, and open position requirements; or new services or programs.
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Assist in investigation and coordination for responding to state and federal agency or vendor requests for information.
- Retains and files records of, as well as generate reports based on, personnel transactions as required for Company purposes in addition to government reporting.
- Trains management in human resources policies and procedures such as; interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, sexual harassment, new processes, or new policies.
- Consults and coaches call center management in appropriate way to handle employee relations issues, interviews, posting positions, completing paperwork, etc in order to insure fairness, consistency and legality of personnel actions as well as maintain data integrity.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Prepares applicant or employee communications or documents according to Company policy and procedure.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: This job may supervise two or three exempt or non-exempt employees.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge or be familiar with Human Resource systems, Payroll systems, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software. Education and/or Experience: Four year college or university degree in relevant program; or two to four years related professional-level experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
