Global Green USA needs a committed and energetic person to join our New Orleans office as a Program Manager. Position reports to Director of the New Orleans Office and works with local governments, affordable housing developers, and school districts to develop and implement green building and renewable energy programs, workshops, and projects. Position will provide support for LEED for Homes and CHPS administration.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with Louisiana Recovery Authority and Road Home staff to integrate BIBR educational materials into the Road Home closing process.
- Evaluate potential for private incentives via product discounts and/or donations.
- Coordinate Resource Center and Visitor Center activities to maximize educational impact for Road Home grant recipients
- Assist in operation and supervision of Resource Center and Visitor’s Center staff and interns.

| Req. candidate profile : |
The successful candidate will have the following qualities, skills, and experience:
- Bachelors degree in urban planning, public policy, environmental studies, or related field; Graduate degree and LEED AP a plus.
- Strong outreach experience; canvassing, advocacy and sales.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in nonprofit, public agency, sustainable design, or related fields;
- Strong project management, analytical, writing, and organizing skills
- Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a hard working, creative team.
