Job description: SUMMARY:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Account Manager is responsible for selling the full breadth of the Andrew After Market Services product line to customers within a designated territory or in named accounts. Andrew After Market Services sells network equipment repair services to OEM’s and carriers. This position is responsible for expanding sales within an assigned geographic region, an assigned target customer list or within an existing customer (i.e. broadening and widening our service and product set within that customer). The Account Manager coordinates the sales and customer relationship process to meet assigned financial objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Executes the complete sales cycle, from generating sales leads to managing on-going account relationships.
- Assesses key decision-makers- needs in order to determine the appropriate service offerings.
- Understands customer’s business, technology and product requirements and appropriately matches Andrew solutions to meet customer needs with Andrew After Market Services capabilities.
- Forecasting and planning: provide updated and accurate territory and account planning and forecasting to management.
- Feedback to management: provide customer and market feedback to sales, R&D, production and business development.
- Provides information and reports pipeline and account plan updates to inform management of sales progress and success.
- Demonstrates a broad knowledge of the entire product line.
- Able to understand and explain technical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a technical discipline;
- Five (5) years related sales experience;
- Work experience in the industry or in a related business;
- Superior professional presence and business acumen; and
* Well-developed interpersonal skills enabling teamwork and clear communication.

This position entails at least 50% travel.
