Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a SAP Team Lead I located at our Joliet, IL facility. Summary: Under general supervision is responsible for overseeing single non-complex client/server enterprise application projects from start to finish. Job Responsibilities: Manages and coordinates simpler development applications including requirement definition, project plan development, documentation, and production support. Responsible for the deliverables, schedule, and quality of implementation projects. Plans the project, forms and directs multi-functional team consisting of peers, third-parties and world-wide employees to accomplish project tasks and maintains control over the project. Works with business units in analyzing, identifying and recording business processes. Recommends new ideas and/or efficiency opportunities. Works on and coordinates several key SAP deliverables. Acts as lead Configurer for moderately complex transactions in SAP software. Translates user requirements into SAP functionality and identifies resulting gaps. Assists users with test scripts and test phase. Resolves moderately complex SAP systems issues resulting from user errors or incomplete configuration. Independently implements small life cycle implementations of SAP. Handles the communication of project-related objectives, processes, events, issues, status and results. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent • Has one (1) of the following: • Five (5) plus years of strong and broad business experience in operations or materials management. • One (1) to three (3) years SAP experience • More than one (1) year configuration knowledge • Well-developed interpersonal skills • Ability to multi-task and prioritize concurrent assignments. • Has one of the following: • Two (2) plus years experience with large-scale system implementations • Project management experience including resource planning, staff direction/ management, project administration and client liaison. • Excellent oral and written communications skills It is the policy of Andrew Wireless Solutions, a CommScope Company, to provide Equal Employment Opportunities to all individuals based on merit, qualifications and abilities.
