SUMMARY:

Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available Finance Manager for an opportunity located in Joliet, Illinois.
The Finance Manager is responsible for the following: develops, interprets and implements complex financial/accounting concepts and advanced techniques for financial planning and control. Uses broad financial analysis and business knowledge to identify financial issues and opportunities. Oversees the development of financial reporting systems required to maintain reporting requirements.
Responsibilities Include:
• Develops plant level reporting package, highlighting detailed overhead spending, manufacturing efficiencies, and reviews allocation methodologies. Responsible for reporting and analysis of both manufacturing and operating expenses.
• Reviews BU unit financial performance with Wireless Network Solutions Segments and prepares consolidated Group financial analysis. Responsible for the preparation, development, content and detailed financial analysis of the Group’s monthly reporting package for Executive staff meetings.
• Directs the Group’s quarterly forecasting, annual operating plan and long range planning efforts and tracks actual performance to those plans. Assists Group’s business development and strategic planning efforts as required.
• Leads Group financial reviews for warranty and inventory provisions, holds monthly meetings with BU leadership and BU analysts to review potential issues and recommends corrective actions. Reviews and approves all scrap authorizations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration; CPA or equivalent/MBA/MS preferred.
• Finance/accounting experience at the leadership level; Minimum of 10 years experience in all areas of accounting/ finance including cost, tax and general accounting.
• Experience collaborating with senior management and understanding the role of finance/accounting reporting and analysis in a manufacturing environment. Must have a strategic focus with the ability to analyze, formulate and implement finance/accounting strategies/controls for a global business.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Strong cultural sensitivity to manage relationships with people from all cultures.
• Strong leadership capabilities to deliver results and build cohesive cross-cultural teams.
• Experience using SAP or other ERP system.
