The Advertising Sales and Production Assistant will work closely with the Advertising Manager to play an essential support role in building relationships with a variety of global clients. This is an excellent learning opportunity for an individual interested in publishing and advertising.
The Major Responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to):
Coordinate all aspects of the production process with advertisers and the printer, including insuring that ads meet requirements
Serve as liaison with marketing partners, and assist in the development of new marketing programs
Perform monthly competitive analysis by tracking advertising in competitive publications
Function as an integral member of the advertising sales team and play an increasing role in print and online marketing and planning activities
Assist the advertising sales staff by providing administrative support, researching clients, and helping to prepare presentations
Manage the billing and collections process, including telephone follow-up
Req. candidate profile :
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
BA degree in related field, with strong academic credentials
1-2 related years experience in publishing
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are a must
Detail oriented, entrepreneurial individual who is a team player
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
