Job duties and responsibilities:
- Develop, revise, implement, maintain, and oversee all of the organizations’ financial policies and procedures (including but not limited to financial statements, budgets, annual audit, tax, lobby and other corporate reporting, compliance requirements, and investment policies). Report to and work with the Finance Committee of the LCCREF Board and the LCCR Executive Committee. Serve as staff liaison to the finance committee of the LCCREF board and make presentation of financial reports at quarterly board meetings. Supervise the work of the Bookkeepers, Accounting Consultants, etc.
- Manage on a day-to-day basis the organizations’ cash flow requirements, financial analyses, information and reporting, budget development and monitoring, investments, capital purchases, facilities management, technology
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by the Executive Directors.
Supervisory responsibilities: This position directly supervises two Bookkeepers and any Accounting Consultant(s).

Qualifications:
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Must have demonstrated exceptional personal and communication skills that indicate an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks, concurrently being thorough and comprehensive. Must have initiative, good judgment and foresight. Must be able to perform well under pressure. Good computer skills and understanding of technology in general and an excellence understanding of accounting software applications.
Education:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Accounting, or Finance is required. A MBA or CPA is a plus.
Experience:
5-7 years of progressive experience in all aspects of not-for-profit financial and at least two years of experience managing budgets. Experience working in and supervising an advanced technology environment a plus. Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory position. Experience working with civil rights issues is preferred.
