Director of Finance needed for growing community non-profit health care organization. Country Doctor Community Health Centers is a community health center serving a diverse population in Central Seattle. A staff of 105 provides primary care services to all who need them, regardless of their ability to pay.
Responsibilities:
The Director of Finance oversees all financial aspects of the organization. These include responsibility for the Accounts Receivable system, the General Accounting systems, Budget Development (Preparation and Monitoring), Financial Reporting, including monthly reports to the Board of Directors, and Fiscal Management, including reporting and analysis of managed care participation, and development of long range financial planning information and projections. Supervision of the organization’s IT department is also one of the responsibilities of the Director of Finance.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; degree in Business Administration preferred.
Experience:
Three - five years management and supervisory experience in non-profit health care setting is required.
Experience with fund accounting and third party insurance system, including experience in a capitated environment, required. Experience with public grant sources, including Federal PHS Section 330, preferred.
Previous responsibility for budget development and monitoring essential; experience working with non-profit Board or equivalent preferred.
Abilities:
Ability to work with automated financial and word processing systems required. Ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-accountants and to work as part of a team is essential.
