Job description
Job description: Fifth Avenue Committee (FAC), an award winning 30 year old Brooklyn not-for-profit social and economic justice organization, seeks an energetic, dedicated and hardworking individual to work as Administrative Assistant to support the staff of our growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Reception Front Desk duties
  • Establish and maintain a centralized filing system
  • Office Supplies Inventory and Control
  • Ensure that office equipment and phone system are fully functional and communicate with service providers as needed
  • Train staff on use of office equipment
  • Handle check deposits
  • Assist with voucher payments and vendor relations
  • Assist with other administrative duties as needed and assigned
Req. candidate profile : Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Administrative Experience (typing, telephones, filing, etc.)
  • Computer skills including Microsoft: Access, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience with a range of office equipment (copiers, printers, phone systems)
