Duties:
Research funding opportunities and information to support proposals
Participate in meetings with funders and prospects
Write and edit proposals for submission to corporate/foundation funders and individual major donors
Acknowledge and track grants and corporate sponsorships
Ensure donor/sponsor benefits are delivered in a timely manner
Prepare and submit grant and sponsorship reports.
Job duties:
Qualifications:
At least five years professional fundraising experience
Track record of securing major gifts and grants from institutional and individual donors
Familiarity and/or experience in raising funds for arts and arts education
Knowledge of New York City and national philanthropic arenas
Superior written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
