Responsibilities:
Index complex grants data using NTEE/GCS taxonomy
Research recipient organizations using print and electronic sources and the telephone.
Prepare source documents.
Assist in preparing files and file maintenance as required.
Assist in checking in source documents.
Assist in training keyers
Assist in reviewing outsourced files for error patterns
Assist in reviewing diagnostic checks
Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned.
Req. candidate profile :
Additional Qualifications:
BA/BS degree. Indexing or research experience preferred. Deadline and detail orientation essential. Should be able to think categorically, work independently and cooperatively to achieve common goals. Data entry experience preferred. Knowledge of Access and Excel and experience with document conversion/OCR a plus.
