The Center for Jewish History is one of the great public Jewish historical and cultural institutions in the world. The Center embodies a unique partnership of five major institutions of Jewish scholarship, history, and art.
Responsibilities:
The Center seeks a Special Events Manager to coordinate the logistics for all public and private events. This new position will interface with the various departments of the Center and serve as a liaison to our five partner organizations. She/he will assume responsibly to ensure that the public calendar and space are appropriately scheduled and administer the use of all public spaces, a growing rental program, and assist with patron services.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work effectively and successfully in administrating public programs; strong organizational and management ability; and excellent writing and interpersonal skills. Advanced degree preferred, as well as five years of experience in program management and/or administration.
