The Mark Morris Dance Group seeks a full time Finance Associate. Reporting to the Finance Director as part of a 2 person department this position affords a tremendous amount of autonomy and potential for growth. The Mark Morris Dance Group has an annual operating budget of $5.5 million and operates the Mark Morris Dance Center in the heart of Fort Greene, Brooklyn. The Dance Center is home to the 20 member Mark Morris Dance Group as well as a thriving Dance School and Studio Rental Subsidy Program.
Responsibilities include:
Processing accounts payable, maintaining accounts receivable, processing fees and bi-weekly payroll (including payment of taxes, 403(b), & direct deposit (EFT)), preparing annual 1099/W-2?s, preparing quarterly federal, state, unemployment and disability reports, reconciling bank statements, general ledger data entry, maintaining payroll and unemployment records, processing credit card transactions, assisting with annual audit preparation, daily banking, and additional administrative duties as needed
