The LGCW has programmed a broad repertoire of culturally significant choral music that affirms social justice, gay and lesbian pride, cultural diversity, and humor.
We seek an educator with creative, innovative ideas for programming, rehearsing, and managing, skilled in working with a wide range of women’s and men’s voices, with a joyous commitment to helping the ensemble grow musically.
Responsibilities include:
Preparation for two major annual concerts, community appearances, and an annual retreat, weekly rehearsals with additional sectional work, tutoring,
Administrative Responsibilities:
Including maintaining the music library and serving as a public contact.

| Req. candidate profile : |
Qualifications:
Experience in leading a mixed-voiced, community chorus, training in conducting and vocal pedagogy, a sense of humor, and ability to work collaboratively within a consensus-based organization and with the broader community are pluses. A degree in music, music education, or equivalent experience is desirable.
