Independently plan, schedule and perform computations/analyses, prepare and make presentations, and document results in technical reports. Perform acoustics analyses in support of the design and design verification of solid rocket motors/propulsion systems. Analyze complex features of the work and apply principles and practices of acoustics analysis, or devise new approaches in problem solutions. Review all results from assigned tasks and determine if outputs are complete, correct, integrated with project objectives, and adequately documented. Follow existing processes and procedures and recommend process improvements where appropriate.
Job duties:
BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited institution with a minimum of 3 years applicable experience in acoustics analysis is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Experience with Microsoft Office is required.
