Job description: North Carolina based wireless and semiconductor manufacturer is currently searching for a Semiconductor Foundry Project Mgr for its Organization.
Job duties: As a member of a team of semiconductor process and device experts, you will participate in strategic partnerships and lead teams to ensure successful foundry and product qualification as well as work with our semiconductor vendors to solve critical problems, and provide technical consultation to various organizations. Candidate will be a key interface between RF engineering teams and the foundry. Some national and international travel will be required approximately 4 to 6 weeks per year.
Req. candidate profile : Minimum 10 years industry experience in silicon technology development, bringing leading edge semiconductor products to production with expertise in process validation and testing including RF CMOS experience. Industry experience supporting IC products through the production pre- release phase with production wafer fabs qualification and process monitoring procedures and in ensuring that IC specifications are met with margin. This includes driving plans and closure on action items with quality teams, research and development teams, and design organizations on product qualifications; and interfacing with purchasing / manufacturing giving general IC product support. Expertise in semiconductor device physics, IC process qualification and reliability, IC failure analysis, fab-to-fab process technology transfers, and RF design is necessary to be successful in this position. BSEE (MSEE preferred) or Ph.D. in Semiconductor Physics
