| Job description: | Central North Carolina Company is accepting resumes for a Sr. CAE Engineer opportunity they have open. Responsible for development and implementation of methodology for validation of functionality of RF and Mixed-signal simulation and device models for different silicon design kits and simulation tools being used. |
| Job duties: | He/she will work with EDA vendors and silicon foundries to qualify each new release of these simulation tools and design kits prior to their release to their design community. He/she will drive corrective actions identified as result of this qualification and will strive to streamline the process. This person will also work with company design and CAD engineers to develop criteria and perform extensive evaluation of different RF/Mixed-signal simulation tools available in the industry and facilitate the incorporation of value-added tools to Company design flow. |
| Req. candidate profile : | BSEE or equivalent and a minimum of five years of work experience in IC design, modeling or simulation. Extensive knowledge of deep submicron CMOS/BiCMOS technologies and RF and Mixed-Signal simulation tools. Familiarity with RF design and programming skills are preferred. Strong communication skills are required.
