Job description
Job description: Responsible for all planning related duties associated with the coordination, scheduling, analyzing, and planning of wafers, assembly, test, or tape & reel product.
Job duties: Analyzes, initiates, plans, and implements all Materials related actions to achieve On-Time delivery (FCD’s) objectives for assigned product lines.
-Uses own judgment in analyzing Material Requirements to determine outside services requirements and then creates and formulates strategy to acquire outside services.
-Requisitions and reviews documentation package, and then coordinates shipments with Shipping & Receiving.
-Maintains and closes production orders to insure data accuracy of MRP. Will analyze and maintain inventory levels of responsible products in order to meet objectives for assigned product lines. Proactively identify and resolve issues that create bottlenecks or areas that would delay material movement, delay production schedules and/or result in significant detrimental financial impact. Takes action to prevent delays and negative financial impact and involves other departments and management when necessary to resolve issues.
Req. candidate profile : BS/BA degree required in business related field of study or equivalent course of study in an accredited college or university. MS preferred. Certified in Production Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred. At least 3 years of material planning and scheduling experience. Exposure to both Materials and Manufacturing concepts in a fast paced environment preferable. High level of interpersonal skills, detail oriented, quality conscious, able to work independently and efficiently on various assignments, self motivated, ability to handle paperwork flow, prioritize work load, flexible, strong team building skills, and work well under stress.
