Fleetlogic, LLC., a division of Los Angeles Freightliner, is currently looking for Fleet Technicians with verifiable experience in general heavy and/or medium duty truck repair for commercial fleet operations, including trailer repair, diesel engine system diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
Job duties:
Perform routine maintenance on trucks, tractor/trailers, and support vehicles, including D.O.T., B.I.T. Inspections, oil service and other related scheduled maintenance to comply with manufacturer’s recommended service intervals. Complete associated paperwork.
Report to work in a clean and neat uniform at scheduled starting time. Follow all company rules and regulations.
Req. candidate profile :
Qualifications
Basic understanding of internal diesel engines, hydraulic and air brake systems, welding and electrical experience
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and push/pull up to 300 lbs
Must have own tool set Must have a valid a CA drivers license and the ability to obtain a Class B driver's license within 90 days of hire
Must be able to work shifts as assigned such as weekends, holidays and mandatory overtime.
Must pass background investigations, pre-employment drug screen, and DOT physical.
Must develop and maintain personal technical expertise.
Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationships with peers, supervisors, and vendors
Must work safely and maintain proper safe work environment practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Six months or more mechanical experience with diesel medium/heavy trucks
Basic knowledge of computers
Stable work history and good attendance record
ASE Certified
