Well established General Contractor requires project manager for immediate full time work in the Cambridge, Ontario area. Successful candidate will require a minimum of 5 years experience as a project manager in the construction field and be proficient in all aspects of administration for construction projects. A thorough knowledge of areas such as CPM scheduling, cost control, project start up and close out, budgets, contract document control, as well as considerable skill with correspondence related to construction is required. Only persons demonstrating solid experience in construction and those having proficiency with the English language need apply.
Successful candidate will require a minimum of 5 years experience as a purchaser in a busy construction environment.
Extensive negotiation skills are required as well as great interpersonal skills.
Must be fully proficient with computers as well as software used in purchasing.
Preference will be given to persons having proof of technical training for purchasing in addition to the work experience requirements above.
