Piedmont North Carolina Company is currently searching for a Sr. Switch Design Engineer.
Job duties:
The qualified applicant will perform nonlinear RF circuit design for HBT/pHmt related circuits for cellular phone applications such as pHEMT switches and power amplifiers. Other responsibilities would include: layout and design capture of RFIC’s.
Req. candidate profile :
BSEE or equivalent, MSEE preferred, with orientation in studies toward high frequency designs. A minimum of six years of work experience is necessary which must include transistor-level RF circuit design. This person should be familiar with microwave/RF/analog circuit design to include bipolar, CMOS, and FET technologies. In addition, good understanding of wireless communication systems, signal processing, and semiconductor IC technology is necessary. RF power amplifier and/or mixed signal design experience would be a plus.
