This is a senior technical writer position within the Corporate Marketing team focused on integrated circuit design technologies.
- Key responsibilities include originating, writing, and editing collateral materials (datasheets, technical papers, customer success stories, etc.), technical conference abstracts, and contributed articles for publication.
- This position also supports senior managers and executives in developing public presentations, press releases and other material requiring a high degree of creativity, and an understanding of marketing strategy and positioning.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and editing skills targeting the electronic engineering market, with experience in writing about complex technical subject matter.
- Skills include good interpersonal communications, research/data gathering, interviewing for technical content development (engineers, product/technical marketing managers, technology-based customers, etc.), and the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise marketing communications content.
- This person provides support to multiple divisions and cross-divisional teams and works concurrently on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

| Req. candidate profile : |
- The successful candidate will have strong technical writing, editing, project management, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Experience producing corporate marketing deliverables such as press releases, slide presentations, web content, datasheets, brochures, technical articles, and white papers in a high-tech environment is required.
- Experience working with senior management in developing public presentations, positioning papers, press releases and other marketing materials is strongly preferred.
- The successful candidate will be motivated, assertive, inquisitive, organized, self-starting, and able to demonstrate the ability to work on cross-divisional teams and concurrently work on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- A Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or English and a minimum of 5 years experience in technical marketing writing for complex technology products is required.
- Applicants must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Knowledge of Quark Xpress and Adobe Acrobat, and experience in the EDA industry are strong pluses.
