Boys2Men provides students with a safe space and supervision during after-school hours. Students engage in relevant and empowering experiences that support their intellectual, social, physical, and creative growth and development in the areas of academics, community, arts, and careers. Supper, homework help, community-problem solving projects, career explorations, and conflict management lessons are among the many program activities offered to participants who enroll in the program. This position reports to the Boys2Men Program Coordinator.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of all program participants.
- Accurately document attendance of program participants using attendance system provided by funders.
- Accurately document snack/meal consumption by program participants and maintain program inventory.
- Assist with the supervision of youth workers.
- Support the design, implementation, and oversight of other program evaluation strategies.
- Design marketing strategies and materials that support program goals.
- Maintenance of all relevant filing systems.
- Identify community social service providers to deliver presentations to the school.
- Timely preparation and submission of reports related to objective of position.
- Cooperation/collaboration with parents, Department of Education teachers and community entities.
- Attend & represent the program at various meetings and trainings.
- May be assigned other tasks and duties reasonably related to the objective of the position.

Additional Qualifications:
- Expertise in adolescent development, group work and educational assistance.
- Typing proficiency (minimum 40 wpm), Knowledge of MS Word.
- Organized and ambitious.
- Academic proficiency and willingness to learn.
- Punctual, responsible, patient, and committed to youth and community development.
- Very good interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Possess a creative, enthusiastic, and professional approach to their work.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (listening, verbal, and written).
