Due to our continued growth and customer demand we are currently recruiting for a qualified, interested and available Senior Electrical Engineer for an opportunity located in Westerville, Ohio.
The Senior Electrical Engineer applies advanced principles, theories and concepts along with providing highly innovative solutions for complex problems in radio frequency engineering.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Technically responsible for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating assignments.
• Projects will involve the design, development, modeling and evaluation of communication systems, base station subsystems, RF subsystems, digital/radio communications technology and network architecture design.
• Performs functional analysis, requirements/allocation and interface definition studies to translate design requirements into hardware and software specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BSEE, (MSEE desirable)
• Minimum of 5 years in the design of RF circuits, amplifiers, filters, frequency synthesizers, voltage controlled oscillators, mixers, phase shifters, gain adjusters, splitter/combiners that operate preferably in the 450 MHz to 2200 MHz range. Hands on experience with RF circuit design and lab prototyping, as well as integration and debugging is essential. Must be skilled in the use of design and simulation tools, preferably Microwave Office Suite.
• Experience in radio frequency amplifiers, transceivers and base-station architectures are highly desirable;
• Must possess excellent oral, written and presentational skills.
• Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary engineering team and capable of positively mentoring and guiding less experienced talent.
