Experienced, senior-level Electrical Engineer to develop controls and communications for automated systems for semiconductor manufacturing. Projects include new product development from concept through release to production; existing product cost reduction, feature enhancement, option creation and problem resolution.
- Responsibilities include development of product requirements and specs, concepts, overall system layout, detailed designs including circuit/schematic development, cabling/interconnect design, component selection, PCB layout supervision, product prototyping, test plan development and execution, design optimization; documentation, release, and support of pilot manufacture. Chair and participate in design reviews. Will work closely with teams of mechanical and software engineers.
- Contribute to the generation of product cost models, project plans, schedules, vendor selection, part qualification, reliability, certification, manufacturing process instructions and support.
- Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills required. Other job related duties as assigned by manager.

| Req. candidate profile : |
- BSEE or equivalent required; MSEE preferred
- Minimum 6-8 years experience in hands-on development of communications and controls for automated systems.
- Experience in servo-robotics, optical and other sensors, CANbus, Digital and analog Signal Processing, RTOS, OrCAD, semiconductor process equipment a strong plus.
