In this strategic and highly visible position, you will be responsible for:
Create and execute strategic technology product development and marketing plans in the display industry.
Construct and negotiate large collaboration and product development contracts.
Identify market opportunities including financial analysis on a global scale; make a value assessment of new technologies and new markets; prioritize market needs.
Define application needs and product capabilities.
Assess market competition.
Evaluate overall risk of a variety of new technology products to help steer product development decisions.
Req. candidate profile :
Experience and Job Requirements:
10+ years of business development, product and technology experience in the display industry.
Technical undergraduate or graduate degree.
Must have understanding of the various technical approaches being pursued for current and future active-matrix backplanes for flat-panel display products.
Experience driving new products from concept to major revenue stream.
Proven record of success in business development and market development from strategic and technical perspective.
Global marketing, sales and business development experience (experience in Asia a plus).
Must have the ability to make both a strategic and a technical sale in order to drive new business development in the display industry.
Must have excellent communication and presentation skills to multiple audiences (business and technical).
Proven success in the construction and negotiation of large contracts.
Willingness to travel (up to 30%).
Proven ability to be productive in a small company environment.
Understanding of various front-plane and light-management technologies for flat-panel displays a plus.
