AIG Commercial Equipment Finance is looking for a professional Investment Manager to provide support in our public and healthcare finance business. CEF provides financing of capital assets (equipment and real estate) to a wide range of organizations including municipal entities, higher education, private schools and healthcare organizations ranging from $3 - $30 million.

  • Underwrite, perform due diligence and present standard and complex taxable and tax-exempt transactions
  • Coordinate, negotiate and close standard and complex taxable and tax-exempt transactions
  • Administrate post-close issues such as escrow administration, trustee interaction, construction and project administration
  • Assist in the administration and execution of selling transactions
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of industry research
Req. candidate profile :
  • Direct or highly related experience in the field of public finance (municipalities, non-profits - including higher education, private schools, healthcare)
  • Direct or highly related experience with underwriting public finance organizations and analyzing their financial statements
  • Direct or related experience with negotiating business points related to tax-exempt legal documentation
  • Direct or related experience with managing escrow disbursements and construction draws
  • 10 plus years work experience in the finance industry including 5 years work experience in public finance
  • MBA or CPA

Must be a confident self-starter, a team player, an innovative problem solver and able to manage multiple tasks at once. Needs to be attentive to detail, resourceful, work well under pressure and have strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a hunger for learning and achievement.
